Our team was created as a way to bring employees of Myriad Genetics together with patients who have been affected by the tests our company performs. Some are cancer survivors, some are previvors, some aren’t affected by cancer at all, but we all are here to participate in a fun race and to help cancer research.
In addition to running in the Ragnar Relay, Wasatch Back race in June, we are raising money for the Huntsman Cancer Institute to help fund the cancer research that goes on there. We have raised a considerable amount of money so far and we hope to do more.
Some of us are great runners, most of us are just here to have an adventure. You can read more about how the team came to be in this post.
